I visited Club Med Ishigaki this summer, and it's the perfect place if you're looking to get a taste of that overseas travel vibe.
It's highly recommended for those with small children, as you can leave them in capable care!

Absolutely breathtaking!
The pristine white sands underfoot were a sheer delight to walk on – it felt like a gentle massage with every step.
And just before the hotel's exclusive beach, the ocean teemed with vibrant tropical fish – a mesmerizing underwater spectacle!
We even spotted Nemo (clownfish) among them!
The underwater world was like stepping into a scene from a beloved animated movie.
The kids were over the moon, spotting all sorts of fish. Their excitement was contagious!

Location: Club Med Ishigaki is situated in a picturesque setting, offering guests a slice of paradise.
It's conveniently located approximately 40 minutes by car from Ishigaki Airport, making it easily accessible for travelers!
Check-In Process
Upon arriving at Club Med, the first thing you'll encounter is the welcoming smiles of the GOs (Gentle Officers)!
They are incredibly kind and will happily fill you in on everything you need to know about the resort.
So, once you've completed the check-in process, your fun-filled vacation officially begins!
A Shisa statue was placed on the counter!
Make sure to get a map of the grounds. With a map in hand, you can navigate the expansive property without getting lost!
Even if it's your first time, you'll quickly become adept at enjoying all that resort life has to offer!
Restaurants
The dining experience at the resort is primarily buffet-style for all three meals.
Restaurant Hours:
- Breakfast: 7:00 AM - 9:30 AM
- Lunch: 11:45 AM - 1:30 PM
- Dinner: 6:30 PM - 8:30 PM
If there are empty seats at your table, don't be surprised if a GO (Gentle Officer) joins you for a meal! They're incredibly friendly, making for truly enjoyable mealtime conversations.
It's a fantastic way to make new friends and learn more about the diverse international community that Club Med is known for.

Unlimited drinks and alcohol!
There are two bars, one is next to the pool, and the other is located on the beach.
Enjoying a beer at a bar amidst nature, followed by a nap, was truly the best experience!
Show
Every night, starting at 8:30 PM, there's a show at the theater.
The show content changes daily, so it's definitely worth checking out every night!
Sports Sign-Up
Every day, starting at 7:45 PM, registration for the next day's sports activities takes place near the entrance to the theater's bar.
The basic age requirement for children to participate is 8 years and older!
There are also circus jumps and archery available, which have set schedules. You can participate by showing up at the designated times.
Tennis lessons, however, require a reservation.
The boat trip was so enjoyable that I ended up participating every day during my stay.
The best part? It was all free!
Pool
- The pool is available for use from 7:00 AM to midnight.
- Lifeguards are on duty only during specific hours.
- An automatic air pump is located at the entrance to the boutique.
At night, the pool at Club Med transforms into a magical setting where guests can enjoy a different kind of ambiance.
Enjoying draft beer by the poolside was the best!
And the pool at night was truly magical.
Beach
Lifeguard supervision hours are from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
The beach was absolutely fantastic!
Being able to go snorkeling, kayaking, and windsurfing was so much fun!
Mini Club
Introducing the Mini Club, a highlight of Club Med that could easily be considered one of its main attractions.
Catering to ages 2 to 17, the club provides all-day care from 8:30 AM to 8:30 PM! (This Mini Club is included in the all-inclusive package, so there's no additional fee required.)
Children are free to come and go as they please, offering flexibility to participate or take a break whenever they want!
The Mini Club at Club Med goes far beyond just babysitting services. It offers a variety of activities that truly allow children to enjoy themselves to the fullest, including pool play, archery, aerial trapeze for circus activities, soccer, and more. These activities are designed not only to entertain but also to engage and inspire kids, providing them with unforgettable memories.
I too wish I had the opportunity to join such a Mini Club when I was a child!
Family Program
This is an event open to everyone.
In this way, there's always some kind of event happening every day, ensuring there's always something fun to do.
Even though I didn't actually participate in any of them, just watching from the sidelines, it looked like a lot of fun!
Room
The number of power outlets in the room might be limited, so it's recommended to bring an extension cord with you.
This way, you can easily charge all your devices without any hassle.
Laundry Facilities
Laundry facilities are available at multiple locations within the resort.
It's a good idea to bring your own detergent, although you can also purchase it at the boutique on-site.
The machines operate with 100 yen coins, so make sure to have some on hand for use.
This self-service option adds convenience to your stay, allowing you to refresh your wardrobe as needed.

Although my explanation might have been quite brief, I truly recommend it. It was so blissful every day, you'd almost wonder if it was heaven.
It's a resort where grandparents, parents, and kids can all enjoy themselves at their own pace!
